Go2CHANGE Urban Living Lab Bamberg Final Event: “Climate Action for Bamberg World Heritage”
The event will share the outcomes of nearly a year of close collaboration between Go2CHANGE Working Group members and local partners in Bamberg. Together, we will explore how scientifically informed, practical and locally appropriate climate strategies can support a climate-resilient transition for the Town of Bamberg World Heritage site while respecting its Outstanding Universal Value and heritage attributes.
The Working Groups will present their main findings, lessons learned and recommendations on climate risk assessment, adaptation, mitigation, and community involvement and capacity building. These contributions form the core of the Go2CHANGE White Paper currently in preparation. The event will also provide an opportunity to reflect on our collaboration and thank the local partners and community for their support.
